2025 Loon Update

The loons were unsuccessful in providing us a baby loon on the north bay nest.  Eagles were harassing the loons constantly.  

Pat Steingruebl mentioned it takes 24 days to incubate an egg.  Julie Tapper saw a baby, but unfortunately, it did not survive. 

The loons attempted another nest on the south end near Becky and Bob’s property, but abandoned that location.

We wish our Loons better luck in 2026. As always, enjoy them, but we want them to enjoy living on the lake too, so be sure to give them plenty of room!
